Masterclasses are one of the most prominent elements of the Hulencourt Art Project. They are open to ensembles of young professional musicians from the Belgium and abroad who have shown that they have a special talent for playing solo and in an ensemble and who have chosen a career as chamber musicians. As a rule they are prize winners from international competitions. The ensembles go through a strict selection procedure before being invited to take part, and during the Hulencourt Art Project they attend mountly master classes of 60 minutes given by great maestros of piano, guitar, violin and chamber music.

The Masterclass offers these ensembles a unique possibility to immerse themselves for a full period of the Hulencourt Art Project in all aspects of the performance of chamber music under highly expert supervision. In addition, each ensemble gives a number of concerts.

The masterclass instructors are highly experienced in performing on international concert platforms; in addition, they know how to effectively pass on their knowledge to young musicians.
